Who we are

Hi, my name is Erich Buholzer. Already back in 2005 I was working on the connectivity of industrial machines, when the term ‘Cloud’ was solely used to describe a weather phenomenon.

In the meantime, I have gained a lot of experience from building purely physical products to purely digital solutions. In particular, there have been some formative moments in my career working at the interface between physical and digital products. It is always a challenge of how to build the bridge between the physical product and the digital solution. It may sound simple at first, but I have seen many struggles and difficulties in building sufficient engagement for the accompanying digital solution to a physical product.

Learning that a digital ID – backed by the right technology – can be a very powerful booster for digital solutions led me to develop asido.io. We are still in the start-up phase, but we already have a rock solid, highly scalable and very flexible solution ready to be used in the real world!
